«Lepestok-M» on security duty: the ZALA system is carrying out its tasks on Sakhalin
The adaptability and modularity of ZALA unmanned systems ensure their effective deployment in scenarios of any complexity. «Lepestok-M» is a new module for aerial monitoring: it is based on advanced neural network algorithms that analyse large volumes of visual data in real time and promptly identify potential threats.
Key features include simultaneous search across two ranges: video and thermal imaging data. This significantly increases detection reliability, as targets are captured even in darkness, smoke, or dense vegetation. This allows for the elimination of interference and enhances monitoring accuracy, confidently recognising both static and moving objects with trajectory and speed tracking.
The operator can pre-set search parameters, for example, by highlighting a specific category of transport or perimeter violation characteristics. Detected targets are automatically marked on a digital map, allowing for an instant assessment of the operational situation. The main camera with 60x zoom and/or a high-resolution thermal imager automatically targets objects of interest identified by the «Lepestok-M» module, allowing the operator to examine the object in detail. The system remains operational even in the absence of GNSS signals thanks to the visual navigation built into «Lepestok-M».
The data collected by the «Lepestok-M» module during the flight enable the creation of detailed orthophoto maps in the visible and infrared spectra. All the results of the mission, as well as the live stream during the flight, are available at ZALA 4Z1.
