An IRIS-T missile belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed by a crew operating the ZALA «Lancet» anti-aircraft missile system of the 50th Brigade «Varyag» from a distance of almost 200 km
A ZALA «Lancet» missile launcher from the 50th «Varyag» Independent Brigade struck the enemy’s IRIS-T SLM anti-aircraft missile system. The loitering munition was launched from a distance of almost 200 kilometres.
Footage from the Lancet's onboard cameras shows how Intelligent Target Acquisition and Recognition System (ITARS) identified equipment camouflaged in the forest belt and proceeded to guide the munition onto the target. It is noted that this system played a key role in the air defence system in the area of the Pivdennyi port in the Odesa region.
