ZALA «Lancet» recon: Marines of the 810th Brigade clear the Sumy border region
Fighters from the 810th Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet's Marine Corps, as part of the «Sever» group, continue to expand the buffer zone in the Sumy region. The sky above enemy positions is under constant control: crews of ZALA «Lancet» reconnaissance-strike complexes conduct round-the-clock surveillance.
At the observation post, video streams from ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs are monitored in real time. High-quality video cameras and stable communication, even under the influence of enemy electronic warfare systems, allow operators to capture the smallest details: from suspicious debris to flattened paths indicating camouflaged Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
The company commander of an aerial reconnaissance unit, callsign Topaz, who fought in the battles for Mariupol, Vuhledar and Kherson, has returned to service after a fragmentation wound and was one of the first in the brigade to master operating the ZALA UAV in 2023. His combat experience helps operators correctly assess the situation. Detected targets are promptly engaged by artillery and Lancet loitering munitions.
