First air monitoring of the oil refinery territory

ZALA AERO starts aerial monitoring of oil refinery facilities in the Samara region. This type of work is unique, as ZALA unmanned systems have not been used at the refinery sites before.

Airborne monitoring will ensure regular inspection of the refinery perimeter, monitoring of pipelines and all adjacent refinery infrastructure to detect violations and non-compliances in real time. In addition, it will search for non-compliances such as pipeline failures, unauthorised taps and other third party activities at controlled facilities. It is important to note that for safety reasons, no flights will be conducted over the refinery itself.

The mission will be carried out using ZALA 421-16E HD aircraft and ZALA 421-22 helicopter drones, equipped with interchangeable target payloads for high-resolution photography, video and thermal imaging, as well as payloads for detecting leaks of harmful chemical and hazardous substances.

For data processing, software based on neural networks and machine learning will be used, which will automatically process information, marking different types of violations, such as oiling, fire, construction equipment, etc. to inform the responsible persons of the Customer.
