Reconnaissance by the ZALA «Lancet» loitering munition crews of the 244th Artillery Brigade of the 11th Army Corps of the «North» group of forces operates in close coordination with rocket artillery, which is actively supporting assault units in the Kharkiv region. According to the artillerymen, thanks to high‑quality and rapid reconnaissance provided by the ZALA Z‑16 UAVs, strikes are delivered quickly and accurately. In addition to identifying priority targets, the Z‑16 provide fire adjustment and objective control of artillery strikes
«We move to different locations to avoid launching from the same spot, thereby ensuring our own safety and that of the crew operating it. From the moment the vehicle is unloaded to the moment the UAV is handed over and we leave the point, the launch takes about five to seven minutes», says the senior operator of the ZALA «Lancet» loitering munition system, call sign «Katal».
