«We flew our combat path»: how a ZALA «Lancet» RUK crew works in the Sumy region
The Lancet UAVs of the 810th Separate Guards Brigade of the Naval Infantry continue to strike enemy positions in the Sumy region. Operational monitoring of the area is carried out using the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV. This multi-functional system, resistant to EW effects, is capable of detecting even camouflaged AFU objects. The servicemen note that the complex is fully autonomous, independent of external conditions, and can independently complete its flight, reconnaissance, and search missions. According to ZALA operators, over the past three years, the unit has literally flown through its combat path.
«We flew through it from Robotyne to the Kursk region, with a complete liberation, and then our troops advanced further into the Sumy region. How well it proved itself, well, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. In my opinion, it's one of the most functional, one of the most convenient, one of the most stable, reliable complexes,» said the commander of the strike-barrage reconnaissance platoon of the RUK ZALA «Lancet» with the call sign Vorchun.
The platoon's target list includes tanks, armoured personnel carriers, supply vehicles, camouflaged positions with self-propelled and towed howitzers, mortars, and other equipment.
«It's very effective, there's objective control, there are adjustments. If ZALA spots a higher-priority target, say, the same tank, resupply, or evacuation, we strike the priority one first,» added the commander of the ZALA «Lancet» reconnaissance and strike unit, call sign Levan.
