The RM-70 Vampire MLRS has been destroyed with its ammunition on board – a precise strike by a ZALA «Lancet» UAV crew.»
The enemy attempted to use a Czech-made RM-70 Vampire multiple rocket launcher in the vicinity of the settlement of Starorayskoye in the DNR. The enemy combat vehicle, moving along a dirt road, was detected by a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV from the «Berkut» unit of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade. A Lancet loitering munition was promptly launched to destroy the AFU equipment, which hit the MLRS ammunition precisely. Footage from the Z-16«s objective control shows that after the Lancet strike, a powerful explosion occurred, and a gigantic fireball rose into the sky – the rockets detonated.
The Lancet loitering munitions confirmed their high effectiveness against this type of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment during the special military operation. According to open sources, estimates from the ZALA Lancet loitering munition have destroyed at least 14 RM-70 Vampire MLRS.
